Consumer Recycling

Almost all of the materials used to manufacture cell phones can be recovered to make new products. Metals, plastics, batteries and the packaging materials can be recycled and turned into new products. Cell phones contain a number of different metals – gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper, tin, lead, brass and zinc – that can be extracted and recovered in the recycling process. They can create automotive catalytic converters, plumbing faucets, piping, and gold/silver jewelry from the recovered materials.

Computer hard drives, monitors, memory sticks, and more can be recycled through Vintage Tech Recyclers as well. Our computer recycling program includes software and data removal ensuring that your information is obsolete. We clean, repair, and upgrade each piece of equipment and refurbish any part we can. If it is not re-useable, we send it off to our ISO Certified partner for complete recycling. We make it our goal to recycle each piece and part of your computer so recyclable materials will not end up in a landfill.
