In cooperation with Vintage Tech Recyclers and Interstate Batteries, Wheatland Township will host a one day recycling event. The date will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

All electronic equipment received will be fully processed and recycled with a Zero-Tolerance for landfill policy adopted by Vintage Tech Recycling. Equipment that can be dropped off includes: Computers, Keyboards, Mice, Monitors, LCD’s, Printers and Cartridges, Laptops, Scanners, Modems, Cell Phones, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD players, Cameras, Camcorders and all other types of electronic equipment. If you have any other questionable items, please call us to see if they will be accepted. Vintage Tech guarantees that all hard drives will be wiped clean and destroyed using compliant methods.

Interstate Batteries will be collecting large size batteries. The types they will collect include: boat, car, sump pump and batteries from cordless power tools. Please call if you have questions regarding other batteries.

We will also be accepting any cellular phones for our continuing drive with Cell Phones for Soldiers.

As always, all items dropped off at the Township Office, 31 W 236 91st St. in Naperville, Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM will be free of charge.
