The types of metals found in cellphones can vary. Metals that have been recovered from cell phones in the recycling process have included gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, tin, and zinc!

These metals can be reused in a number of ways and in a number of different industries! They can be reused to create new electronics or even reused in the jewelry and/or automotive industries, for example. No matter how they are used, there is a use for these metals, and that is one reason why recycling electronics is so very important!
