Vintage Tech To Host Electronics Recycling Event to Benefit Kansas City, Kansas School Foundation for Excellence

Next Saturday, August 4th, Vintage Tech will be hosting a major electronics recycling event in Kansas City, KS. This event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be held at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Central & Training Center at 2010 N. 59th Street, Kansas City, KS 66104.

For the event, Vintage Tech will be teaming up with the Kansas City, Kansas School Foundation for Excellence and donating a portion of the proceeds to their Foundation. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that works to fund much needed programs for students and teachers in the urban Kansas City, Kansas school district.

Accepted items include computers, laptops, monitors, LCD’s, cell phones, printers, scanners, modems, CD drives, cables, keyboards, mice, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD players, camcorders, cameras, game players and joysticks, telephones, pagers, answering machines, typewriters, calculators, adding machines, fax machines, copiers, postage meters, vacuum cleaners, toaster ovens, and microwaves.

All items excluding televisions will be accepted free of charge. Residents will be expected to pay $15 per unit for tube style televisions and $25.00 per unit for wooden console and DLP-Rear projection TV’s. Donation receipts are available upon request.
