Vintage Tech Joins With EPA's Electronics Challenge

Vintage Tech Recyclers is proud to announce that we were recently chosen by the Federal EPA to host the signing of the Electronics Challenge today. This event is being called the EPA’s “Sustainable Materials Management Electronics Challenge Roll Out”

This challenge essentially asks manufacturers and retailers to commit to sending 100 percent of their used electronics to third-party certified recyclers, increasing the total amount of used electronics collected for reuse and recycling, and publicly posting information and data about their progress.

The Electronics Challenge has been presented to large electronics manufacturers and retailers in an effort to drive support towards increasing recycling efforts and waste diversion goals. Federal EPA representative, Lisa Feldt will be onsite at Vintage Tech today to present the challenge to the group of manufacturers and retailers. Here today, representatives from a variety of manufacturers and retailers will sign the electronics challenge and begin their support to increase their recycling efforts. Those attending include Sprint, Best Buy, Sharp, LG, Panasonic, Staples, and Samsung.

We at Vintage Tech are very excited for this opportunity and would like you to be a part of the excitement!
