Remember to Recycle Your Holiday Lights

If you’ve ever tried to reuse old holiday lights from years past, it is almost inevitable that you will come across a bad string or two. And while these lights may seem inexpensive to replace at times, we urge you not to simply throw them away when they are through.

Just like many other forms of electronics, holiday lights can cause harm to the environment when they are irresponsibly tossed out. This is a waste of our world’s resources. However, when holiday lights are responsibly recycled, many elements can be reused and refurbished for other purposes.

Vintage Tech supports holiday light recycling programs. If you would like information on how you can recycle your old, unusable holiday lights, please contact us. And while you’re at it, next time you shop for new holiday lights, consider purchasing more energy efficient decorations. That way, you can help your environment even more by using less energy to light up your home for the holidays!
