Vintage Tech Recyclers will be on hand at an ABOPT (Antifreeze, Batteries, Oil, Paint and Tire) event to collect old or unwanted electronics this weekend in Kansas City, MO. The event will be held June 7th at the following location and time:

  • Saturday, June 7th from 8am – noon at the Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave, Kansas City, MO

Aside from electronics, Kansas City infoZine reports that “city staff will also be on hand to collect and safely dispose of antifreeze, car and household batteries, oil (automotive, cooking, heating, etc.) paint, paint-related chemicals, and tires.”

For residents looking to recycle electronics, Bridging the Gap suggests a tax-deductible cash donation ranging from $5 per car to $25 per wooden console or DLP TV.
