New Recycling Laws Increase Need for Business Recycling

According to the Topeka Capital-Journal, more than 25 states have passed laws that make statewide electronic recycling mandatory. This means that throwing out electronics will no longer be legal. Instead, these electronics must be recycled via a certified electronic recycler, such as Vintage Tech.

These new laws will especially impact larger businesses and organizations that have multiple computers, printers, fax machines, and other office electronics, since these electronics will generally need to be regularly replaced as newer technology is needed. Recycling such large amounts of electronics can be a pain, but luckily, Vintage Tech is here to help!

Vintage Tech offers business recycling services and will create a customized electronics recycling and asset management program to fit your business’ needs. Some electronics, especially computers, contain sensitive information that most businesses will want to be destroyed. Vintage Tech offers data destruction options that include certified NIST 800-88 hard drive wiping, hard drive crushing, and hard drive shredding. You can be sure that your sensitive information is totally erased, as our software is the only government-approved erasure tool, and allows hundreds of drives to be simultaneously and quickly erased.

Let Vintage Tech take care of your business’ electronic recycling needs. To learn more, please call us at (877) 625-7945.
