KANSAS CITY, MO (April 26, 2014) – The Kansas City Chiefs organization has partnered with Vintage Tech Recyclers to offer local residents a solution for responsibly recycling outdated, unused and older electronics products, including TVs, monitors, cell phones and more. Please join us from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 3rd at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs, “Extra Yard for the Environment”, Green Initiatives committee is collaborating with Vintage Tech Recyclers, to provide the responsible electronics recycling piece of the 2014 Sustainability Event.  Other recycling vendors include Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Goodwill, Harvesters, Langley Recycling, Interstate Batteries, Missouri Organic, Allied Waste, Beck Tires and the US EPA. This year’s event will provide a simple and convenient way for Chiefs fans and local residents to recycle old electronics and other recyclables while enjoying free hot dogs, snacks and learning more about sustainability and the environment.  Please note that there will be a $5.00 charge for recycling old tube televisions and a $15.00 charge for wooden console and projection televisions.
