How many states have electronics recycling laws?

How many states have electronics recycling laws?Unlike decades before, we know much more about the damaging effects the improper disposal of electronics has on the environment, which has led numerous states to adopt electronic recycling laws. But just how many states have electronics recycling laws, and what are they?

As of today, there are 25 states that have some sort of electronics recycling law, according to the National Center for Electronics Recycling (NCER). However, the language and stipulations of each law vary, so to be sure that you’re following your state’s electronics recycling laws (if it has one), take a look at NCER’s interactive map that shows which states have electronics laws and what each one involves.

We hope to see more states take action against irresponsible electronics disposal in order to eliminate e-waste and its destructive effects on the environment.
