Habitat for Humanity ReStores: St. Joseph County, Indiana

As part of our weekly feature on our Habitat for Humanity ReStore partnerships, we’re going to take a look at the ReStore locations in St. Joseph County, IN.

St. Joseph County is home to two different ReStore locations. The first is the Mishawaka ReStore , and the other is the South Bend ReStore located at 2411 South Main Street in South Bend, IN. The South Bend ReStore has agreed host their own electronics recycling days on the last Wednesday of every month from 2-6 pm at their location. The drive-through drop-off is located at the north end of their parking lot.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStores in St. Joseph County, directed by Jim Williams, work toward their goal of generating money to help build homes for low-income families in the community. They are open to the public and offer items like building supplies, carpets, appliances, and furniture at a largely discounted price. All of the proceeds stay within the St. Joseph community.

Vintage Tech is dedicated to helping Habitat for Humanity with this mission by providing a place for people to recycle their used electronics, such as computers, dvd players, printers, or laptops. Check out this updated list of acceptable electronics to see if your donations qualify for the recycling program.
