Habitat for Humanity ReStores: Milwaukee, WI

This week, Vintage Tech would like to feature the Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This ReStore is a great recycling partner to Vintage Tech. In fact, in just one electronics recycling drive, they collected over 30,000 pounds of electronics! Now, in the wake of the holiday season, many may have some old or replaced electronics that they no longer have a use for. This ReStore is a great place place for community members of the Milwaukee area to dispose of those old computers, printers, DVD players, and laptops.

This ReStore doubles as a free computer recycling center. In order to participate in the recycling program, community members just need to bring their electronics to the main entrance and drop them off in the containers labeled “Electronics Recycling” across from the register. This Milwaukee ReStore is dedicated to helping the community by keeping electronics out of landfills and collecting funds for affordable homes for low-income families. They even offer weekly specials on some ReSale items to build these funds!

The Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located at 3015 N 114th Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53222. Their hours are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information, call them at (414) 257-9078.
