Electronics Recycling Day

The ReStore is hosting an Electronics Recycling Day at Wisconsin State Fair Park on July 23rd from 8:30am-2pm. Many electronics contain materials that can be repurposed even if the entire unit is out of date or not functional. If thrown in a landfill, some electronic components can even be harmful to the environment. This is why the ReStore has partnered with Vintage Tech Recyclers to help people safely and responsibly recycle their electronics.

When: Saturday, July 23rd

Time: 8:30am – 2:00pm

Where: State Fair Grounds – In the North Parking lot off of HWY I-94

Simply bring the electronics you’d like to donate to the State Fair Grounds parking lot to the east of the Pettit Ice Center. A large team of volunteers and ReStore staff will be there to unload your electronics. We will do the rest! Vintage Tech Recyclers are then donating proceeds from the electronics recycled back to Habitat for Humanity! Stop tossing out old electronics or letting them clog up your storage space! Your donation will help keep usable materials out of landfills and help fund Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes for low-income families.

Materials Accepted:

Cell Phones
Copy Machines
Fax Machines

New Electronics Recycling Center

The ReStore is now your electronics recycling center! Why add to growing landfills? Why pay to get rid of your electronics? Bring them to the ReStore and recycle your electronics for FREE! Televisions, stereos, computers, monitors, printers, etc…we’ll take it all! Simply bring these items into the ReStore’s main entrance and drop them off in the two large containers marked “Electronics Recycling” across from the register. We’ll take care of the rest!
