Dane County, Wis. Offers One-Time E-Cycling Event

Next Saturday, June 16, residents of Dane County, Wisconsin can recycle their old electronics for free, thanks to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

This event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center. Some of the materials that will be collected include computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, calculators, cell phones, keyboards, mice, televisions, monitors, microwaves, radios, stereos, telephones, DVD players, CD players, and VCRs.

It is important to note that this event is free, one-time drop-off, and that the service is being provided for residents only, not businesses. Additionally, household appliances like air conditioners, dehumidifiers, vacuums, and toasters can not be accepted.
