Colorado Passes Electronic Waste Ban

Effective July 1, residents of Colorado will no longer be allowed to irresponsibly dispose of electronic waste, as landfills in Colorado will no longer be accepting e-waste. This new mandate is thanks to the Electronic Recycling Jobs Act that is working to limit electronic waste and the harmful effects it has on the environment.

We’re so excited about the positive effects this new act will have on not only the environment, but the economy as well. As residents will now have to responsibly recycle their electronics, there should be an increasing demand for electronic recyclers, which will create jobs. It’s a win-win!

Way to go, Colorado. We’re ecstatic about your decision to eliminate e-waste and promote a greener world.
