Coloardo’s ban on landfill e-waste takes effect today!

Colorado’s ban on landfill e-waste, which was signed in April 2012, will take effect today. The law requires e-waste to be responsibly recycled through certified e-waste recyclers, though some exceptions may arise.

Colorado is the 20th state to ban e-waste from being disposed of in landfills. We’re proud of Colorado for the accomplishment and look forward to seeing other states pass similar laws.  Only 30 more states to go!
