Q. Are there any more upcoming electronics recycling collections?

A. Yes. Unwanted electronic devices will be accepted at no charge at four upcoming recycling collections sponsored by the La Salle County Environmental Services and Land Use Department. The scheduled collections are:

•Earlville: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Earlville High School parking lot, 415 W. Union St.

•Ottawa: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the La Salle County Governmental Complex parking lot, 707 E. Etna Road.

•Lake Holiday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Lake Holiday Lodge parking lot.

•Lostant: 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, Lostant Elementary School parking lot, 315 W. Third St.

Accepted items include monitors, laptops, televisions of all sizes and models, printers, computers, fax/scanners, DVD players, stereos, VCRs, video game consoles, mice, keyboards, PDAs, cell phones, all computer parts, MP3 players, iPods, phones, speakers, holiday lights, video game controllers, VHS tapes, floppy disks, software, CDs, servers, networking equipment and laptop batteries. Non-accepted items include typewriters, toaster ovens, hair dryers, curling irons, cash registers, copiers, electronic tools, air conditioners, refrigerators, dish washers and other major appliances.¨The collections will be handled by Vintage Tech Recyclers of Romeoville.
