On a rainy Saturday in October, the Village of La Grange Park held its first E‐Waste Recycling Event. Approximately 400 vehicles were guided through the drop off site at the Public Works facility. Community residents disposed of 42,051 pounds of old unwanted electronic equipment such as computers (9,375 lbs), monitors (10,548 lbs), televisions (11,296 lbs), printers (4,588 lbs) game consoles and more (6,244 lbs). Two semi trucks were filled to the hilt with electronic items to be recycled.
