WOODSTOCK – An electronics recycling event will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 11 at the McHenry County Fairgrounds.

This free disposal service is hosted by the McHenry County Council of Governments with recycling services provided by Vintage Tech Recyclers Inc.

The following items will be accepted: TVs, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers, stereos, speakers, VCRs, keyboards and mice, DVD players, computers, miscellaneous cables, computer parts, telephones, cell phones, game consoles, handheld electronics, iPods, CD players and Game Boys.

The fairgrounds are near the corner of Route 47 and Country Club Road in Woodstock.
