Old electronics benefit ReStore 8/7/2011 Habitat for Humanity of Indiana has partnered with Vintage Tech Recyclers to offer a free electronics recycling program at the Habitat ReStores of Indiana.

SOUTH BEND — Habitat for Humanity of Indiana is inviting businesses, schools and residents to bring old electronics to their local Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

The Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County accepts recycled electronics on the last Wednesday of the month from 2 to 6 p.m. at the ReStore at 2411 S. Main St., South Bend.

Habitat for Humanity of Indiana has partnered with Vintage Tech Recyclers to offer a free electronics recycling program at the Habitat ReStores of Indiana. Vintage Tech is an electronics recycler based in Chicago.

Items accepted include computers, laptops, monitors, LCDs, cell phones, printers, scanners, modems, CD drives, cables, keyboards, mice, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, camcorders, cameras, game players and joysticks, telephones, pagers, answering machines, typewriters, calculators, adding machines, fax machines and copiers.
